Ayurveda and Yoga

Ayurveda and Yoga are two ancient healing systems originated in India and are closely interconnected. They share the same fundamental principles. They both share a common philosophical foundation of Vedas.

Ayurveda, the holistic healthcare system of India, originated around 5000 years ago. Ayurveda mostly focuses on the harmony of body, mind and soul. Yoga practices aim to unify the same, promoting overall harmony and well-being. Ayurveda provides dietary recommendations, herbal remedies, and therapies to align doshas and promote optimal health. Yoga practices including asanas and pranayama can enhance the physical strength, flexibility, and vitality. Both Ayurveda and yoga recognise the importance of mental and emotional well-being, addressing stress, anxiety and promoting inner balance.

When practiced together Yoga and Ayurveda work synergistically to support overall health and well-being. Both systems are complimenting each other while practised together. Together they provide a comprehensive approach to health, fostering balance, harmony and deeper connection with oneself..
